OBJECTIVES

The course is designed for those with experience of corporate transactions who want a better understanding of the drafting of placing and underwriting agreements.

As a result of attending participants should be able to advise on an underwriting or placing with knowledge of the legal and regulatory background. The course covers the contents of the agreements and identifies their purpose and the main areas of negotiation. The differing objectives of the parties are considered and points to be alert for when reviewing an agreement are highlighted.
